What Is CBD?
“CBD” or “Cannabidiol“ is one of at least 60 active cannabinoids identified in cannabis.
1.) It is a major constituent of the plant, accounting for up to 40% of the plant’s extract, as a non-psychotropic phytocannabinoid.
2.) In other words, CBD does not have an alter a person’s perception, emotion, or behavior, e.g., it does not get you “high”.
CBD is also considered to have a wider variety of medical applications than does psychotropic substance tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
